Here’s my first review of series 2 of the Women of DC busts line. I didn’t review all the series 1 busts because I don’t own all of them, but I’ll come back to them later on. The two being checked out are Wonder Woman, and Cheetah. I like Wonder Woman, but I’ve never read her comics, so I wasn’t aware this Cheetah woman was her ARCH-NEMESIS. Both of these were designed by Terry Dodson, he did the illustrations for the series 2 busts. Anyways, on to the Women of DC – Wonder Woman and Cheetah busts review.

The first thing I noticed was that these two have awesome bases. They both feature the classic W (although the top line in it, on the Wonder Woman one is a little faint), but the Cheetah bust has claw marks going through the W. A bit of a contrast to her happy appearance, but appropriate! The poses on both of these are really cool. Cheetah has a more playful look to her, like a kitty, and is superbly sculpted. Wonder Woman is changing out of civilian gear to get right into battle. The paint? Top notch, I had zero complaints about either of them.

These two go really well together. None of the series 2 busts are rare yet like a few of the series 1 busts, they’re all affordable and make a great addition to a collection. In the promo pictures, I wasn’t quite sold on the Wonder Woman, but I hope my shots have done a better job of showing off her look. In person, she’s fantastic. The Cheetah bust looked great in promo pics and I think I made it look pretty sweet as well, both come highly recommended by me.

Where to buy?
My personal recommendation is stick with Ebay for these. Most sellers have them for $45+, but on Ebay they’re easily available for $20-$30 + a few bucks shipping. Or, try to get them for $30 cash at your local convention. Wonder Woman and Cheetah are pretty decent on Amazon too.
