Wall-E and Eve Plush Review

Posted by: Dr_Teng In: Toys

I’ve got a soft spot for goofy looking adorable things. Maybe my estrogen levels are slightly too high, maybe I played with a doll when I was a child and repressed it, I don’t know. But when I see something stupidly adorable, there’s a decent chance I’ll get it. I mean, I’ve got two wiener dogs and I can barely go an hour without trying to cuddle them to death since they look so ridiculous. I saw these at Toys R Us and I couldn’t resist. Wall-E and Eve plush!

Wall-E and Eve Plush

It’s easy to see why. They’re fairly cheap ($8 or $10 CAD, I can’t remember) and … SO CUTE. They even have a little bit of articulation. Eve can move her head to look in different directions, and she can move her arms up and down. Wall-E…well, not so much. You can adjust his arms a little but they’re not meant to be moved.

I’ve got one main problem with these two, and you can see it in the above picture. Eve can’t stand on her own. Even with her tag attached (so you can try to prop her up) it just doesn’t work. She falls over and there’s no way to balance her. Which is fine if you’ve got some weirdo plushie pile, but I haven’t plunged that far. I have Wall-E supporting Eve, so it’s not too bad, but still pretty annoying.

Overall, I’m going to give these 3.5/5. Eve falling over is annoying, but they’re cheap and adorable, sooooo.
