I’d heard nothing about this comic prior to reading it, but the art seemed cool and it was only 4 issues, so why not?
The basic idea is you’ve got one 140~ year old that’s a captain of industry and afraid to die, one scientist who’s lived a productive but miserable life, and an invention that can contain the soul itself after death.
It ends up being a fairly action packed comic with a cool premise that’s a lot of fun to read. The art is well done and represents the comic perfectly. My only critique with it is I felt the story could’ve offered so much more, but it was simply too short to flesh everything out. Much like this review!
Despite the short length, it has a few touching parts and there’s a fair bit of depth. It’s not your usual type of superhero comic, despite the usage of powers. For those of you looking for something fresh, this is a good choice.
