Another gorgeous 1/8th addition to the Yamato Fantasy Figure Gallery statue line, Her Garden! Since some shots aren’t safe for work, they’ll be placed under the cut. From this preview, I’m pretty sure this would be one of my favourite ladies from the line to date.

An interesting new path for Yamato. Their Fantasy Figure collection is known for its selection of sexy ladies inspired by fantasy artists and now it’s going a more classic sci-fi look with robotic looking ladies (in addition to their fantasy stuff, of course!). They’re working with PopCultureShock Collectibles, so this should be an interesting series. [...]

This is going to be properly revealed at Yamato’s booth at SDCC, it’ll be available as a prepaint through Yamato USA, or a kit through Erick Sosa’s site.

If you’re familiar with Kotobukiya’s recent Danger Room line of statues, you’ve seen plenty of Erick Sosa’s work. He’s just announced that he’s working with Yamato on a line that’ll be previewed at SDCC, I’ll definitely be checking it out while I’m there!

Shipping in early September at about 1/5th scale with cast-offable clothing, here’s Yamato’s first No More Heroes statue, Slyvia Christel. Available to preorder over at Hobby Search for about $133. Pretty great timing to go with the re-release of the game!
