Shunya Yamashita nailed this one out of the ballpark, Mystique looks gorgeous. Kotobukiya better be bringing a prototype to SDCC!

Although apparently this is a Diamond Previews exclusive but same result in this case, a third Kotobukiya SDCC Bishoujo exclusive, the diamond form of Emma Frost. Limited to 1500.

Although in a bit of a disappointing turn, the SDCC exclusive hasn’t been officially announced, just that there will be an SDCC exclusive. Most likely Iron Man related. The X-Men First Class licence was also announced but no sneak peek images so far though I’d say the chances of a Magneto being one of the [...]

I wasn’t too impressed when I saw images of the upcoming Sideshow Punk Storm statue but Bowen Designs might have a better option! Though it’s hard to tell without higher res pics. One of my favourite Storm designs, check out the sneak :

The latest in the Kotobukiya Danger Room line of statues, Gambit is still good to go. While there’s been some concerns about not having Rogue as a companion piece, I’d say he’s in a dynamic enough pose to easily stand out on his own.
At this point I wish it was a full shot but this is pretty close! Here’s the Bowen Designs take on Professor X. I’m liking him but there’s no way I could justify him in my collection unless I had a nearly complete Bowen X-Men team. What do you guys think?
