What's Your Obsession

This has been making the rounds after Bowen posted it up on Facebook. Sculpted by Thiago Provin, it was rejected by Marvel. I’m kind of glad they did, though the sculpt looks fantastic, that pose is awkward and doesn’t make much sense to me. With a few tweaks it could’ve been pretty badass!

Spider-man and the symbiote roundup, come one, come all!

Another week of all Marvel men, some great pieces here. As of this post, I’m back to switching back and forth between custom toys and statues.

I’ve never been a fan of the faux bronze line of Bowen Designs statues, though the Venom does look rather good. It seems like these statues work best in themed bronze displays, in which case I can see the Venom working great with the previous Spider-man.

Here comes the companion piece to the Sideshow Collectibles Venom that was just released. Not only that, but in the video they specifically said they were planning to make a Spider-Man comiquette to go with it! I cannot believe that’s the final version of an exclusive print for a statue. It seriously looks like someone’s first photoshop slapped on a gradient.
