The first release in the Hot Toys Tron line and the only release to make it out prior to the delay (cancellation?) of the line, though Sam Flynn on the bike is still slated for release. Kevin Flynn has by far the easiest costume of any character in the movie since it doesn’t require extensive [...]

A lot of people on the forums were concerned it wouldn’t have proper light-up features, well, you can forget about THAT little problem! Lights up and comes in at $324.99 MSRP. And here’s the full image gallery of Sideshow’s Rinzler maquette!

Bad news first, apparently the Tron line is being shelved for now. The Sam bike and the Kevin Flynn figure will both be released as scheduled but any further releases are up in the air. Hope you haven’t had enough of Tron merchandising, because no doubt you’re going to see plenty more before the movie comes out. Medicom is prepping 3 sets of Kubrick and Bearbrick figures with a MSRP of $20 each. These are some of the nicer ones I’ve seen lately so here you go :

Some pretty amazing stuff there, since those movies and licences have an absolute WEALTH of characters that could be created. Tron, more Michael Jackson, basically every action star around in the Expendables? Helllllo.
