Starting with the mightiest, Thor Frog, Frog of Thunder! But seriously, I’m going to drop all the Marvel announcements in this post. Thor Frog has a MSRP of $45, Wolverine brown outfit for $70, Red Skull for $70, and finally, Spider-Woman also dropping for $70.

I gotta say, the spinning hammer effect came out even better than I was expecting! If I’m not mistaken, it even looks like varying levels of transparency on the transparent parts, awesome. Here’s a look at Gentle Giant’s upcoming Thor movie mini-bust! I’m not so sure about that facial likeness yet, however their digital scanning is usually quite decent so I’d like to see it at more angles before I make up my mind. It’s going to be ready this fall with a $75 MSRP. More images [...]

After this Thor, there should be a sneak or reveal of the movie Sideshow one and I imagine you’re all going to have your fill of Thor for a while, haha. This Bowen Designs Modern Thor statue release is meant to match the classic Thor museum statue, one of my favourite Bowen statues to date.

Bowen Designs showed off a new head for their Thor action pose statue as well as the prototype of the spinning hammer, which I look forward to seeing in painted form! I’m not sure how good it’ll look but it’s a neat idea and I’m always behind trying something unique with a statue.
