Figured I’d review the most promising of the Kotobukiya Bishoujo exclusives first! Time to start things off with Evil Supergirl. Supergirl is definitely one of my favourite Super ladies and Shunya Yamashita did a fine job designing this one, let’s check it out. Quick Buying Options : Available on Ebay and Amazon.

Considering the first DC Direct Women of DC Supergirl bust was so highly regarded and still goes for high prices on the secondary market, this one had a lot to live up to. Terry Dodson was going for a more cutesy style here, let’s take a closer look.

I’ve read a fair few comics illustrated by Amanda Conner and this just does not look like her style. Here’s the DC Direct Supergirl Women of DC series 3 bust, both pics under the cut. Due to be released in early September with a $60 MSRP.

Always making more work for me, Kotobukiya! I’m pleased to say that these promo shots look great so far, though I wish we could get a better look at her face from some other angles! Here’s the DC Supergirl Bishoujo statue :

Kotobukiya is keeping their DC Bishoujo line kicking with this upcoming release, Supergirl! Here’s the illustration and I think this looks super cute, let’s hope the statue looks just as good!

I’ve waffled on the DC Direct Ame-Comi line before. Sometimes they’ll have crap, sometimes they’ll have surprisingly strong entries, it’s been very hit or miss. If you’re not familiar with this, it was a graphic novel (back when Loeb was decent) and is being made into a movie. As has happened with every other animated movie, DC Direct is making a maquette of it, in this case, Supergirl. She comes in at 11.25 inches high with a MSRP of $100.
