Sideshow Collectibles is putting a STAP vehicle up for pre-order next week, one of the few vehicle designs I enjoyed from the prequel trilogy. I’m tempted to grab one of these along with the Battle Droid 2-pack since it’d make an excellent companion to their top-notch Clone Troopers. Larger picture at the link.

Gentle Giant dropped their upcoming solicitations, 2 Star Wars, 1 Marvel, and 2 Sucker Punch statues I’ll show off in another post. Nien Nunb, Lando’s wingman in bust form! Hawkeye on the Avengers skycycle, and the jumbo Hammerhead figure.

To give credit where it’s due, this looks much nicer than the Luke figure. Enterbay and Medicom are once again teaming up and bringing out a figure in their “Ultimate Unison” Star Wars line, Han Solo, with multiple outfits and accessories. The facial sculpt seems a little stern for Han Solo though, so an alternate [...]

This week I’ll be checking out one of my favourite alien species from the Star Wars trilogy, the Gamorrean Guard, in 1/6th figure form! Review sample provided by Sideshow Collectibles. Let’s take a look at the big surly fella. Quick Buying Options : Available at BBTS, Amazon, Sideshow, and Ebay.

Sideshow Collectibles sent over two of their Star Wars 12″ figures for review, Commander Cody and the Gammorean Guard. I’m sure the goal was to get me addicted to another line so I can throw even more of my money at them. I took an extensive look at Cody, let’s check out whether I’ve been [...]

Check the video out here. It’s a few minutes long and shows their upcoming choices in the Star Wars LSB line, as well as showing off some of their new Predator direction and an upcoming Marvel sneak. Pretty neat that they’re trying to go a more dynamic route with the LSB line.

A frame grab from Sideshow‘s video during their Star Wars preview shows the progress of their Rhino comiquette as well as how their upcoming 1/6th scale Taun Taun is coming along, check it out.

I wouldn’t have went with the light from below for all of the product shots but ah well, I’m not Sideshow’s photographer! Sideshow Collectibles Green Goblin life-size bust for $600 As for the Sideshow 12″ line, check the Mos Eisley environment preview, looks damn good so far! The Map Room of Tanis preorder that just [...]

Gentle Giant Death Trooper bust review

Posted by: Dr_Teng In: Statues

When this was previewed, the consensus was that it looked awesome but it wasn’t in a Star Wars story, so most people seemed willing to pass. I figured, who cares? One of my favourite Star Wars statues is from a character I’ve never read about (Darth Talon), there’s lots of great expanded universe stuff, and [...]
