I absolutely adored the concept for this the first time I saw it. The DC Direct Mary Marvel from their Women of DC bust line had a unique look that was downright cute, a perfect pose for Mary. This is another one based off of Terry Dodson’s work, let’s check how it came out.

Here’s a classic statue that I wanted for quite a while, the Sideshow Collectibles Buffy the Vampire Slayer Premium Format statue. There were two versions of this, the one you’re seeing here and one with leather pants. I think that look is a little more iconic but both have that Buffy feel going for them.

Considering the first DC Direct Women of DC Supergirl bust was so highly regarded and still goes for high prices on the secondary market, this one had a lot to live up to. Terry Dodson was going for a more cutesy style here, let’s take a closer look.
