Hot Toys put out an announcement that there have been recasts of their Wolverine figure. Makes sense, since this is one of their most valuable ones from the past couple of years. So be careful, buy from reputable sources, and check to make sure the quality is up to Hot Toys standards.

Welp, here’s another unfortunate addition to the recast alert section. Just in time for Iron Man 2, recasters are putting this out in kit form. Be extra careful when buying this bust now, even if it’s painted.

I haven’t seen any really recent reports of this one but I felt it was worth mentioning, common or not.

A few days ago I showed off a recast Buffy Premium Format statue. The guys involved were taking statues, stripping them nude, giving them humongous breasts, then adding on really dumb looking optional clothing so they can still sell them on Ebay.
