Here’s a classic statue that I wanted for quite a while, the Sideshow Collectibles Buffy the Vampire Slayer Premium Format statue. There were two versions of this, the one you’re seeing here and one with leather pants. I think that look is a little more iconic but both have that Buffy feel going for them.

We’re going oldschool on this review, a Sideshow Collectibles Premium Format statue from well before I started collecting, the first Hellboy PF. A local seller found a few of these in a warehouse so I picked one up on the cheap. Let’s see how Sideshow’s production from years ago compares to their work today.

Here’s the link! Rogue looks fantastic although the base is fairly large. I’d like to see more of the EX head but regardless, an extra head and two prints? That’s worth an EX preorder for sure! The Chalice of Kali looks suitably gross, sure to be a conversation starter around the house, haha.

Sideshow’s first statue based off of a J. Scott Campbell illustration, hopes were high for this Emma Frost. The Hughes comiquette was still going for hundreds above retail, so a lot of people, myself included, were hoping this Premium Format would kick some ass. Keep on reading and you’ll find out if it does.

Having recently reviewed the Sideshow Collectibles Mystique comiquette, seemed like I should’ve reviewed the Premium Format statue first! Better late than never though, let’s check it.
