Hot Toys releases some official details for their upcoming 1/4th Predators licence

After the release of the Classic Predator Collectible Figure recently, we have received positive response from the market!
But we guess that fans won’t be just satisfying with the 1/6th scale, right?

We are going to announce this great news now – we are bringing to fans not only the 1/6th scale, but also the 1/4th scale collectible figures of the Predator movie series – Predator, Predator 2, Predators, Alien vs. Predator (AVP) and Aliens vs Predator – Requiem (AVPR)!

It will be surely an enhancing of the details and quality level! And the mask and some of the body armors will be made by die-casting!

Moreover, we will be bringing the collectible of Dutch featuring our beloved actor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1/4th scale too!

Hot Toys Samurai Predator sneak from Sideshow

I can’t remember if this one was shown off in sneak form before, I THINK it was. At any rate, Sideshow showed off a picture of the fully painted Hot Toys Samurai Predator. Not up my alley, but something for Predator diehards I’m sure!

I’ve been anticipating this one for a while, the Sideshow Collectibles Dutch Premium Format statue! One of my favourite action movies, there’s plenty of great PREDATOR products. Dutch? Not so much. There’s the one ridiculously expensive Hot Toys figure and that’s about it. $349.99 is a little pricey but goddamn, this looks fantastic. Check out the full gallery here.

I’ll be trying to grab both, make sure you’re qualified for priority pre-orders as of TONIGHT. If you’re not familiar with previous Hot Toys exclusives, they usually sell out in 1-5 minutes, unless the server crashes, then it’s a little longer. They both clock in at $225, definitely a few bucks more than I would’ve liked, but both look to be excellent figures.

Now this is what I’m talking about! New Classic Predator release from Predators? We’re looking at an improved body, battle damaged helmet, and regular helmet, with tons of cool accessories. This is exactly what I was hoping for from Hot Toys! The rest of the pictures under the cut.

It’s a few minutes long and shows their upcoming choices in the Star Wars LSB line, as well as showing off some of their new Predator direction and an upcoming Marvel sneak. Pretty neat that they’re trying to go a more dynamic route with the LSB line.

Turns out those rumours about additional Hot Toys exclusives were right! They announced two more tonight, I believe these are going to be the last ones. First up, the Hot Toys Toy Fairs Predator 2 exclusive : Shadow Predator. Additional pics and specs under the cut. Newly developed Predator body is great news! Especially if they re-release some of the earlier ones.

Hot Toys is proud to present the 1/6th scale Shadow Predator Collectible Figure from the Predator 2 movie as the 2011 Toy Fairs Exclusive item. The movie-accurate Shadow Predator collectible is specially crafted based on his image in the movie, highlighting the newly developed head and body, body armor, as well as highly detailed weapons and accessories.

The 1/6th scale Shadow Predator Collectible Figure specially features:

- Authentic and detailed fully realized likeness of Shadow Predator in the movie Predator 2
- Realistic and accurate 1/6th scale of approximately 14 inches / 35 cm tall
- Over 22 points of articulations
