Quite possibly the best Bishoujo statues yet. While I prefer the regular Phoenix, they’ve done some very interesting paint work on the Dark Phoenix, despite it not being mirrored, I’m quite tempted to buy it regardless. Images under the cut.

Kotobukiya decided to show off a little more of their Hulk statue as it comes along. Good to see that it’ll work nicely with the upcoming Thor, but what’s with the mouth? Hopefully something that’s fixed.

I’m not completely sold on this one. I like that they’re doing Doctor Doom and I really like the work around his eyes, but it’s a similar pose to the Bowen statue and some of the paint has issues. Personal preferences aside, it’s an ambitious piece for Kotobukiya’s Marvel villain line of statues.

Kotobukiya was just showing off this concept art for their upcoming Deadpool statue. It’s going to have arms you can switch out, not sure which ones you’ll get though.

Kotobukiya is really going all out for the Iron Man movie and for good reason, their first movie Iron Man was awesome (I’ve done a review previously) and sold quite well for them.

Not only did they show this off, but they apparently announced that Shunya wouldn’t be the only artist on the DC line. I’m REALLY curious to see who else they’ll have designing statues for it.

I’m not 100% sure of the full details on these, whether it’s a new line of statues or a continuation of their hero statues. If I had to guess, what they’re going to do is release partial team sets that go together, such as the Thor/Captain America/Iron Man, except in this case, X-Men themed. [...]

For all of you Mega Man fans out there, gotta imagine you’ll be pretty happy to see this. Kotobukiya is partnering with Capcom to make this 12″ plus E-tank. It’s unfortunately Japan only (for now) and it’ll be $30.
