Apparently this came out during Wonderfest and I missed it! An updated Kotobukiya Harley Quinn Bishoujo illustration. I’m not sure how well the stripper pole idea will work with Harley but who knows, I’m up for surprises.

Kotobukiya was showing this off as the concept for the Poison Ivy / Harley Quinn Bishoujo statues but as of now, this concept is potentially being revised. Either way, it’s a fun little sneak peek at two of the most popular DC ladies!

Coming in at just under 17 inches with a MSRP of $325, this is going to be released late in May. My favourite part of this statue was the hyenas, they’re a great addition for a Harley Quinn statue.

Here’s some more details for the DC Direct Women of DC series 3 Harley Quinn bust, designed by Amanda Conner. Unfortunately, this one didn’t do it for me at SDCC, but perhaps they’ll tweak the face before April 2011. MSRP will be $60.

Let’s mix it with and go with some great custom ladies across a variety of licences.

Real shame too, since I was quite looking forward to this one. It’s been delayed until at least September, which likely means the Ivy will be delayed a few months as well (since it’s original release date was September). Ah well, my wallet isn’t complaining.

This is an interesting choice. Some of the recent DC Direct Ame-Comi statues have been surprisingly good in terms of visual design, but I didn’t think they were popular enough to warrant a line of smaller figures based off of the existing large ones. This is the first review from this line of DC Direct Animated Maquettes, in this case, Harley Quinn. A few years back, DC Direct released a series of the animated women in cute/sexy poses. It included Harley Quinn, Supergirl, Poison Ivy, Batgirl, and Catwoman.
