Only two new statue announcements from DC Direct for their April solicits. They’re releasing a New 52 Batman Black and White by Jim Lee for $79.99 MSRP and a Green Lantern Animated Series maquette for $124.99. Unfortunately I’m not finding myself impressed by either one. Two Ame-Comi repaints and a Batman bust that looks kinda similar to the first? Sideshow and Kotobukiya may have the licence but come on, there’s definitely a market for the Cover Girls, VS pieces, and some of the busts. $70 MSRP for the Ame-Comi figures, $75 on the Batman bust.

I always wonder why companies don’t announce when they make substantial changes to a sculpt, especially when in this case with the DC Direct Catwoman 1:4 scale statue, it looks WAY BETTER.
