I always wonder why companies don’t announce when they make substantial changes to a sculpt, especially when in this case with the DC Direct Catwoman 1:4 scale statue, it looks WAY BETTER. Catwoman is easily one of my favourite DC villains and while this statue wasn’t what I was looking for, hopefully it satisfies some of you other guys looking for a 1:4 scale Catwoman statue! This comes out just before Christmas with a MSRP of $325.

This is getting kinda played out, DC Direct is releasing yet another wave of Ame-Comi figures that are simple repaints of earlier versions, the first Batgirl and the second Catwoman. They’re coming in mid-June with a MSRP of $60.

Well that was pretty quick, here’s a bunch more pictures of Kotobukiya’s Catwoman Bishoujo statue. Looking good, though I’m a little puzzled at the base and I’d modify the pose slightly. Still, I prefer it to the Black Cat I’m about to toss up a preview for.

I don’t get why they’d only show one angle, come on Kotobukiya, this isn’t exactly a sneak! Anywho, here’s there Catwoman Bishoujo statue and it’s looking pretty good.
