Bowen Designs is getting ready to premiere another Captain America bust, this time though, it’s a blast from the past. World War 2 styled. I have a feeling this one will look better with in-hand pictures.

Yep, two statue alerts in one day, kind of sucks. There’s two primary issues with this statue : 1) Check the white paint on yours. I’ve seen many pictures where people have significant cracking across large swaths of the white paint. 2) The paint quality on the shield in general is subpar. As usual, crack [...]

My favourite of these three is easily the Galactus, which comes on a GIANT BLISTER CARD. He’s a 19″ figure and the blister card is apparently 27″. That’s a hilarious toy gimmick if I’ve ever seen one.

This was the run when Captain America came back to the world after the Heroes Reborn business. I’ve heard that they often aren’t the best sellers, as shown by the Age of Apocalypse busts by DST, but I’m sure a few select characters would do well. Out of the 4 new characters up for order, 2 [...]

This was posted on a statue board. It’s the new head sculpt photoshopped on to the existing statue with mock paint. I think it’s a nice improvement and can’t wait to see the real deal on the statue. Glad Kotobukiya is listening to it’s fans!
