Kidrobot partners with Capcom to release Street Fighter blind-box figures

Spankystokes has a preview image of Kidrobot’s upcoming Street Fighter blind box figure set, series 1. These are going to be available in July at $10 a pop and the lineup looks to be : Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, E. Honda, Zangief, Guile, Dhalism, Blanka, Balrog, Vega, Sagat, and Bison. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were a secret figure or two included in that as well. Unfortunately the style isn’t quite doing it for me so I might only grab one or two but hey, great to see Kidrobot expanding into new lines!

Bruce Lee is sure making the rounds lately! Here’s HCG’s latest Bruce effort, coming in at 100 pieces worldwide with a price of $150. More pics under the cut.

As for their licence announcements, they’re acquired Marvel vs Capcom and they’ll be producing 1:6 and 1:4th scale statues from it. This was their update on Resident Evil : “his will include statues of classic video game characters including, Chris, Wesker, Tyrant, Jill, Nemesis, Leon etc..”. Plus, they’ve gotten a licence to develop statues based off of Heavy Metal magazine artwork!

Kotobukiya nails it here with a great looking Protoman kit to go along with the recently released Mega Man (mine just arrived in the mail, I’ll get pictures in a few days). He’s about $25 at most import sites.

I’m a little surprised Kotobukiya is making the second release in this series Roll. While not an unpopular character, Zero would’ve been an obvious choice, or even a villain. At any rate, Roll will be coming in around $25 at most import shops and supports two outfits, her original one and the older looking one from the later games. Should be up for preorder at your favourite import stores.

For all of you Mega Man fans out there, gotta imagine you’ll be pretty happy to see this. Kotobukiya is partnering with Capcom to make this 12″ plus E-tank. It’s unfortunately Japan only (for now) and it’ll be $30.

Enterbay Announces Upcoming Onimusha 3 Figures

In case the names don’t ring any bells, Enterbay is the company that released the amazing 12″ Jack Bauer and Onimusha is a Capcom game franchise which was quite popular on the PS2. They showed off a sneak peek on their blog. More details as they’re released!
