SDCC for Kotobukiya – New announcements and pics

Not too much unexpected news on the Kotobukiya front but solid efforts all around. They previewed their Danger Room Rogue statue (not complete, the face will be getting reworked), X-Force Wolverine, Psylocke, Doctor Doom, White Queen Bishoujo, and regular Wolverine. Lots of stuff we’d seen in preview form or not at all! Oh, and the Batgirl Bishoujo pics under the cut.

For sneak peeks, they had Boba Fett, Darth Maul, Stormtrooper, Black Cat Bishoujo, Ms. Marvel Bishoujo, and Catwoman Bishoujo. Be sure to check out the Colossus rough sneak peek under the cut as well.

Looks much better than I expected from the sneak peek, even the tip-toes pose makes sense. Not sure if I like it more than the Sideshow Adam Hughes piece, we’ll see.

Custom Statue Showcase #8 – Marvel + NWS

Sometimes I see statues so hilarious that I can’t help but put them in the showcase. That’s where the Black Cat beneath the cut falls into. The auction said, and I quote,

“The sexy and mischievous Black Cat shows off her hot breasts and behind. It’s no wonder Spider-Man risked his life trying to bag this hot pussy. She a bad girl that Spidey couldn’t reform. Just look at those erect and stiff nipples.”

The Age of Apocalypse Colossus is just wonderful, the Emma? I can see why someone would want it in their collection, but it doesn’t do it for me, looks kinda off. But I’ve found most custom women statues look a little strange, I’m guessing women are harder to sculpt. Who knows, I’m not a sculptor!

I’m not so sure about this. It’s coming along well except for the face. I’m sure it’ll get some tweaks, so this update has some good and some bad.

One of these is a rough CG one, one is a rough traditional one. You may have seen the previous Mystique sneaks, they’ve decided to scrap that design and start with a new one. If not, you’ll see the previous design here in the future.
