Statue Alert – Sideshow Collectibles Power Loader Diorama Paint Issues

I’ve been reading in a few forum threads that there’s a number of common problems with the Sideshow Collectibles Power Loader Diorama. This is fairly unfortunately, since it’s a fantastic looking piece otherwise, as usual with these statue alerts, don’t let it put you off of buying it, just make sure to inspect whatever piece you receive. Or if you’re buying it off the secondary market, make sure the seller inspects it (and if possible, takes pictures).
The most common issue with this piece include crazzzzy eyes (reported by quite a few people). On some, it’s only a minor inconvenience. On others, it looks downright messed up. There’s also been other reports including paint chips, just general sloppiness that shouldn’t have passed quality control. The most serious issue seems to be that in some cases (at least 3) the armature doesn’t line up correctly. One of the joysticks has a peg that is supposed to be attached to one of the arms and it simply does not fit. I forgot to save a picture of this, but I’ll see if I can add one later.
