Megahouse Portrait of Pirates Mild statues – Sanji, Luffy, and Robin review
Posted by: Dr_Teng In: Statues
After releasing a whole bunch of adult figures, I’m thinking Megahouse saw there was some serious cash potential in making child versions of most of the main characters, since many of them have adorble childhood backstories. This review covers the first wave of the Megahouse Mild Portrait of Pirates figures, Sanji, Luffy, and Robin.

The prices on these were very affordable and none of the Mild figures have really gone up in value, so they’re a pretty good deal if you enjoy the crew as kids. Each of them (possibly not Luffy, can’t remember) come with an alternative display head. While it can be a pain to remove the original heads, it’s a nice touch. As a general warning, be very careful with Luffy’s small cutlery. It’s damn easy to bend or break when you’re putting the steak on top of the fork.
While the sculpting on most of them is comparable to the adult line, I’m not a fan of the default face on either the Sanjo or the Robin. Fortunately, the alternate heads improve both. The designs are a fair bit more simple than the adult versions though, so there isn’t much detail.

The paint on these three matches Megahouse’s usual standards. Bright, vibrant colours, no real paint problems.
4/5. Shame that you have to replace the heads to get their ideal heads.
Buying Options : Last I checked, HLJ still had them in stock. If they don’t, you can probably get the set on Ebay.
