Marvel Zombies 4 is up for preorder at Amazon for $13.49
Here comes the 4th Marvel Zombies series. I gotta say, I wasn’t impressed with this run. The story is more of the same and only gets interesting once they throw Dormammu into it towards the end. I was impressed they managed to work in Swamp Thing of all characters into the story, but eh.
The strange thing is the concept was different enough from the rest. You’ve got a monster hunting squad, you’ve got the Hood involved with the zombie plague, it’s more geared towards the supernatural characters. It even has some interesting ideas with the zombie plague becoming airborne. Unfortunately, it suffers because the writing isn’t terribly exciting, the characters are only average, and the art is decent, but not exceptional.
I think they could tell it was somewhat mediocre because they do a partial reboot after this series.
