Marvel Zombies 2 for $12.99 currently at Amazon
This is a direct sequel to the events of the first Marvel Zombies. The few remaining humans make their way back to Earth and work on civilization while the Zombies that survived Marvel Zombies 1 make their way across the universe as Zombie Galactus’, devouring everything they can. It’s a cool setup, although the events on Earth weren’t terribly exciting. Since they’re a vital part of the story, at times it feels like it’s dragging a bit.
Things really pick up once the Zombies realize they need to go to other universes. They head back to Earth to find Mr. Fantastic’s machine that would take care of that, but it’s been discovered by the remaining humans and it’s under their protection. From that point, it’s about the remaining humans and zombies not affected by the hunger trying to prevent the cosmic powered zombies from devouring all known universes.
3/5. Overall, a fun read, but it doesn’t work as well as the first one.
