Kotobukiya Iron Man Reborn Fine Arts statue

Posted by: Dr_Teng In: Statues

About time they knocked out some painted images of this one! Here’s Kotobukiya’s Iron Man Reborn statue in all it’s glory. Hopefully this one doesn’t suffer from paint issues like the previous two.

Is it more stocky than usual Wilk?
So many Iron Man pieces and I don’t even have one. I really should get one someday…not too sure where to start. One of my faves is the one that is not the most popular in the LScaleB line. The Stealth – which looks amazing with light up eyes (custom). I would love to have The SS Hulkbuster – sorry ..I am wandering.

This Iron Man statue needs more work when compare to the Thor & Captain American ones.
I was expecting something better than this after seen the other two. Now I will have second thought about buying this Iron Man one to complete this Reborn series.
With this corrent pose location on the step base it dosent work next to Captain America.
Whats going on at Kotobukiya?

I’m not sure about the placement either, it does seem they botched it a little. From what I was reading, Marvel really wanted this design of Iron Man used. I think it looks well sculpted for what it is, but this particular Iron Man design is just odd looking, especially once they painted it.

It is kind of stocky but thats not my problem. The gold parts look more like clothing than armor. The red parts extend beyond. Makes no sense.

I think I see what you mean. When I look at the SS Mark VI Maquette the gold thighs really look like solid metal and not just painted on and separated by seam lines. Also running the gold into calves and back ….a fancy design add on? I get the feeling on the SS one the joints can actually move and also why have the red and gold separated in areas where no movement of body is needed? Just an ignorant question…..I really no nothing about the Reborn IM.
