Kotobukiya brings some colour to their upcoming Darth Maul ArtFX statue

Kotobukiya had this up for display in prototype form at Comic Con, it was impressive then, and impressive now. Darth Maul comes with a nice bonus feature, a light-up lightsaber. Coming in with an estimated MSRP of $120, I’m sure it’ll be a popular piece for Maul fans. Kinda wish they had showed an actual photo of the light-up feature instead of using Photoshop to emulate it though.

VERY impressive! Am curious if the light up will be a let down like Luke.

I sure hope not but it’d probably going to use the same LED lighting that Luke had. Although it might look better since it’ll be a smaller saber.

Did he wear shoes in Ep 1? His feet look weird, dont remember seeing them in the movie..

I don’t remember seeing his toesies. Yeah, those feet are somewhat….hmm….I hate to say disturbing. On the other hand maybe they’re meant ta be. Does Darthy have some intergalactic fungal invasion in the works or what…???? Oops, I just insulted the latest Maul craze.
