Kidrobot Simpsons Mini-Figures Review

Posted by: Dr_Teng In: Toys

That’s right, two Kidrobot figure reviews within a few weeks. Don’t get used to it, since the Simpsons and Futurama ones are the only sets of theirs I’ve bought more than one figure of.

Another Kidrobot set, another complaint about random boxes. Come on, a random box set that contains 24 characters? That’s outrageous, even if the Simpsons does have more than enough memorable characters. The chase figures are Snake, Mr. Teeny, and Devil Flanders, so no one I care about. I picked up about 8 or 9 of these and I was happy, not all are pictured in my this review.

Basically, it’ll take you a lot of money if you want the complete set, so hopefully you’re not a completist. This site, just like the Futurama set, is missing a number of fan favourite characters so they might release another. In an odd twist, Kidrobot did release more Simpsons figures, but they’re 6″ versions of the aliens and Ralph.

I think these work slightly better style wise than the Futurama figures. I do mean slightly, since the styles are very similar. They each come with a cool accessory, though some are quite fragile. I rarely break toys but I guess my giant man hands couldn’t handle how fragile Smithers’ glasses were, as I broke one end of them. A sad day for anyone who’s worn glasses.

4.5/5. Great assortment, fairly cheap on the aftermarket, they look good displayed together.

Buying Options : While you can find them in stores with designer toys, they’re quite cheap on Ebay.
