I’ve been slacking on updating with news to focus on filming reviews/taking photos, I actually have 5 or 6 coming fairly soon! Sorry to regular readers of the site but I’ll likely be focusing on reviews instead of news. I will post up statues I particularly like or when there’s some statue problems/controversy though. Harley seems like a good enough reason to post, I like the alternate head. Overall though, I like the concept of the recent Bombshells statue a little better, this one does fit well with Sideshow’s Joker though!

For those who missed out on the Link and Samus figma figures, which ran into some sort of issues and were canceled for domestic release (thus shooting up to 2-3x their retail value on Ebay), you’re in luck! BBTS is saying that they’re getting a re-release at a very affordable $50. I have both of these figures and while I haven’t finished a review of the Link one, they’re some of the most enjoyable figures in my collection.

After the latest trailer, which was utterly fantastic, Kotobukiya just premiered their wonderfully sculpted Man of Steel statue. That likeness looks really good from some angles, a promising start! I really like the cape being fabric and having wires within it so you can pose it how you like.

One diecast figure, one Power Pose figure, and one regular figure. If Hot Toys doesn’t release half the suits from this movie, I’ll be surprised. Interesting that they’re going for a variety of types of figures. No doubt the power pose for those they think will sell less. I still haven’t pre-ordered any of the diecast ones, no matter how tempting the Iron Patriot is, I kind of want to wait to see how they turn out first.

Prepare yourself for an onslaught of Iron Man suits the likes of which you’ve never seen. Possible last movie in the franchise for a while? Everyone’s gonna be bringing it. Here’s Kotobukiya’s take on War Machine. I like what they’re doing with the hovering but I feel the nature of War Machine lends itself to a more action oriented pose, unless they’re saving that for the Iron Patriot.
