Seemed as good a time as any to make a new feature for the site. I do a LOT of business on Ebay, much as I’d prefer not to, so why not save people some of the bad experiences I’ve had on the site?

I’ll publish my Ebay block list soon enough but for now, let’s look at the latest person I recommend avoiding.

1969koolcollectables , the Ebay ID of Thunder Bay’s Kool Collectables & Comics. Since he doesn’t have a website for his business and I get a good amount of traffic here, willing to bet this is going to show up #1 on google whenever someone searches for Kool Collectables & Comics. Good, people should know who they’re dealing with.

Here’s what happened. I ordered a statue described as new. I received an item that was broken in 2 areas, as well as having the motor partially screwed up. Seller claimed his employee owned it and he assumed it was mint. Yeah, sure, but whatever, he offered a refund. Then he couldn’t refund due to his “brother” being out of town and having his Paypal passwords. Apparently his “brother” hasn’t heard of a modern invention called a phone. But hey, he’s got 100% feedback, it’s only been a few days. Finally I get a confirmation, I’ll have the refund by Friday. On Thursday he emails me again saying he’ll have it to me on Friday.

Friday evening rolls around, no refund. I email him asking where my refund is. The jackass has the gall to claim his dad is dying of cancer so my refund isn’t his highest priority (despite having plenty of time to reply to my emails from the hospital, apparently). When I tell him I’m tired of it, he says I’ll get my refund when he feels like it. Sucks for him that I filed a Paypal complaint and left him a negative, since I’ll get my money back anyways.
