As much as I really enjoy some of DC Direct’s lines, yeah, they’re overpriced and undersized and don’t represent some characters well, but a lot of their statues have a great style and some unique ideas…their designer toy division is just the worst.

Those things are atrocious, they look like 30s era strongmen. Sinestro is the only tolerable one, and even then, he sucks. They all suck. What I wouldn’t give for them to just rip off the Dunny or Mighty Muggs look and make a nice comprehensive line of designer toy inspired cutesy characters. But nooo, they either come out with stupid overpriced ones, or with these things that look like they’ve got downs, but will probably be reasonably priced.
Damnit DC.
