While I&#039;m not familiar with how much it costs to chrome exactly, the impression I received from a few threads was around $100-$150 for most normal sized statues, which seems quite affordable compared to say, the $800~ the museum chromed surfer goes for.  I&#039;m tempted to do it in the future when I have some extra money kicking around.</description>

It ends up being less expensive than buying the chromed version and possibly more convenient than going online (but not sure about that).

W can do lots of touch ups and our own painting too to save dough and even improve the factory paint job.
