Gentle Giant is going all out on the 50th anniversary of Mars Attacks (the playing cards, specifically!) by creating a SDCC exclusive Mars Attacks bust, Christmas ornaments, and apparently a fair bit more unannounced products! Here’s a little look at the SDCC exclusive bust.

Here are some sneaks from some upcoming Bowen Designs statues. The Magneto is pretty good, I wonder how it’ll compare to the Kotobukiya one recently released.

While the face isn’t quite perfect to original Shunya Yamashita art, Kotobukiya’s done an excellent job bringing their Asuka Kazama Bishoujo to life. The colour and detail in particular. Should be out in a few months!

Following Yamato’s Sorayama Sexy Robot statue, their next Sorayama is Hot Box! No pre-order details yet but it’s looking pretty good, though I prefer the shades on. It seems to frame the face better.

Here’s a strong start to Popcultureshock’s life-size Mortal Kombat bust line, Subzero! I’ll be posting more pictures as development comes along though it seems nearly perfect to me already. Slap on a simple and classy base and you’ve got the start of a great line here, Mortal Kombat certainly has some memorable designs!

Just a heads up, both of these figures will be going up for pre-order at all the major import sites on April 11th, 18:00 JST, which is 4am EST. Since they sell out in roughly a minute, good luck! I’ll post full colour pictures when they’re available, since they haven’t been shown yet.

Sideshow’s made great progress with gradually filling out the A New Hope 12″ figure line, their Tusken Raider seems to be keeping their high quality standards.
