Bowen Designs has released a fair few Wolverines, but only one Logan statue. It’s a fan favourite and sells for a surprisingly high amount. We’re not talking Thanos levels, but he’s up there.
I love the concept of this statue. One of Bowen’s best. Shows off Logan in his element and he looks tough as hell. The cliff base with the wood is perfectly suited for this statue.
The sculpting is impressive. The way Logan’s fists are clenched, his scowl, the pose he’s in, the rock base. It flows really well. I felt his torso was a bit too long considering he’s a short little midget and something irked me about the face too but I haven’t heard anyone else make that complaint.
This one was really a knockout in terms of painting. There are so many small touches. The fading and rips on the jeans, the shading, the blood on the claws, the hair, it’s done so well. I couldn’t see any painting flaws on my particular statue.
4/5. Well worth the money, best Logan statue around.
