Disclosure Policy

The statues reviewed within are often not provided by sponsors. They are paid for with my own money. Some toy/statue bloggers accept free merchandise from sponsors and don’t disclose it, I feel this is a conflict of interest. If I ever receive a statue from a company to review, or as a prize, I will note it right at the start of the review (and usually at the end as well).

In addition, many deal links are affiliate links. Not all (lots of sites simply don’t offer affiliate deals), but most. An affiliate deal means if you purchase something through them, I receive a small percentage. I make sure to post only quality deals.

While there exist many collectibles sites, I couldn’t find a statue and high-end collectibles site that covered the news I found interesting and provided pictures (especially high-res ones) of the statues and figures I wanted to see. That’s why I created What’s Your Obsession right at the start of 2009. It’s been a lot of work but I’ve had a great time taking pictures of some gorgeous statues and figures as well as met some great people. While there’s still a lot of improvements I plan to make to the site, I believe it’s one of the best high-end collectibles sites on the internet!
